Welcome to your mandatory employment training.

Please complete this training as soon as possible, after the training is completed you will be issued with an employment contract and we can get you working to support our clients.

There are three training sections to complete, in total this takes 5 hours. It is important that you finish all of the training and submit your certificates in order to be paid for the training.

Please note that the training contains sensitive information. If you feel uncomfortable or are unable to continue, please cease the training course immediately and contact Anglicare HR, anglicarehr@anglicare-tas.org.au.

1. Incident Management

In this training session we will cover:

  • What is an incident?
  • NDIS reportable incidents
  • Responding to incidents
  • Recording and reporting incidents

2. NDIS orientation

This NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ will assist workers to better support people with disability.

3. Safeguarding Children

As part of Anglicare’s commitment to the safety of children, we require all staff to undertake Safeguarding Children accredited training. This training is delivered by the Australian Childhood Foundation website and will take around 3 hours.

You will need to create a new account using your Anglicare email address. For more details about creating an account and login, please click here.

Once logged in, please select Anglicare TAS from the organisation list. Your enrolment key will be ACARE-TAS (this is case sensitive).

Once the training has been completed, you will be issued with a certificate. You will be asked to attach and provide this certificate below.
